Enipedia is an on-line encyclopedia of energy infrastructure data and knowledge. Its objective is to facilitate and enable making available data on the worlds energy infrastructure, in such a way that people can interact with it, use it for in models and simulation, correct and curate it.

Powered by a semantic database combined with a Mediawiki front-end, it allows compilation and presentation of both structured and unstructured data. The platform offers API’s and Sparql-endpoints to allow its data to be machine-readable. Enipedia is built from and develops open source components under a Creative Commons license.
